How to fix blank desktop problem
Many computer users suffer this blank desktop issue. You just log on Windows XP and find there is no desktop. The desktop icon is disappeared. That’s painful to start a program using Start menu. And you have done everything to solve this problem but it still no responds.
There is only the mouse cursor on the desktop. You may have done things below:
- Reboot your computer again and again.
- Right-click on the desktop and refresh
- Using Task manager

1 Sometimes, blank desktop happens due to wrong operations. You can right-click the desktop, arrange icon by and select show desktop icons. It works at most time.
2 You should check user account? This seems to happen occasionally to user accounts. It is not sure what happened to the account. Please create another account to fix blank desktop problem.
3 Virus infected
