0×00000076 ROCESS_HAS_LOCKED_PAGES

Error analysis

Usually, 0×00000076 error occurs because of a driver chaos. The driver just completed an input/output task. But it did not release the memory properly.

Solution:

Step 1: Click start -> Run, Type in “regedt32″ at the command box. Find HKLM\SYSTEM\Current control set\control\session manager\memory management. Modify the value of Track Locked Pages as 1. Then Windows system can track the driver when errors happen again.

Step 2: When the Blue Screen appears again, you will receive an error displaying STOP: 0×0000000CB (0xY, 0xY, 0xY, 0xY) DRIVER_LEFT_LOCKED_PAGES_IN_PROCESS. The fourth “0xY” is the problem driver’s name.

Step 3: Remove the driver and access registry to delete “Track Locked Pages”.

Just restart your computer, the Blue Screen error just fixed now!
